RDP, Vario 3 and i key

Based on a couple of recommendations on this forum, I installed the WM6 RDP Finster software. Works great.

but..

the "i" key does not work in this software. It works in other programs, Word Mobile etc..

trouble is, "i" is in my password on my PC, so I can't log in via RDP! :(

is there a viable alternative?
