Hey,

I know the HTC Home thingybob had something like this but I had to remove it because it was too huge.

Now that I have email checking on my shiny new Web and Walk it keeps waking me up and as dedicated as I am to work, I like to sleep. ;)

So I just need a handy way of either

A) Turning off the email alert sound/vibrate

:( Switching to a completely new set of Sound & Notification settings

C) Turning off auto email checking between certain times.

Any good apps?

I have it set to turn the sounds down at a specifed time and then back on in the morning.

Profiles can be set by time, agenda, or power, and you can change sound levels, ring tones, all comms settings, backlight settings, within each profile and it can be set to execute programs when profiles change. It also has a today plug in for easy of use.

I have also exported the registry key that sets all the profiles up, so simply re-import it when/if I do a hard reset.

PhoneAlarm should do it. You can set up 'network snapshots' which include your mail send/rec frequency, plus a whole load of other stuff. You can even set up custom alerts for particular recipients (so your phone can stay silent if your boss emails, but if one of your colleage emails asking if you fancy a pint the phone will still alert you ;)).

Another vote for PhoneAlarm...really neat bit of kit. Have stuck with the HTC Home myself as the settings are overkill for my phone usage but some of the skins on PhoneAlarm are really slick, and functionally it's really impressive!
