Guest Swampie Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Trying to view MSDN dev nuggets at http://www.microsoft.com/uk/msdn/nuggets/n...in-VS-2008.aspx but neither downloaded WMV or stream file play right on Vario III. Using Media Player it opens/connects fine but no vid is shown. device is muted (currently in bed) so don't know if audio playing but play timer is going up as expected. may be codec issues. Can anyone work out what the problem may be with this? Thanks

Guest Swampie Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 try installing tcpmp v0.72 RC1 some how it works when its installed. it doesnt with the 0.8 RC1 beta version Just tried installing that, and makes no difference to playing in Media Player - still no video. Tried running the WMV in TCPMP itself and it said "Audio codec (Windows Media Audio) not supported by the player!" and then "Video codec (Windows Media Video 9 Screen) not supported by the player!". By the looks of it, the "Windows Media Video 9 Screen" (designed for screen grab/slideshow videos) codec is not supported in Windows Mobile: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost....55&SiteID=1
