Guest Sparky77 Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 any updates on the Eeepc running Apple OS
Guest tycho Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Hi guys, I had Jas's Tiger release working at the weekend and can confirm that at the moment there is no networking available. I installed it in exactly the same way as a regular Hackintosh install but you have to remove all options apart from the intel hack. Didn't check the SD card reader and I didn't get sound or webcam working but it looks nice and isn't too slow. For some reason the clock doesn't work correctly and it is thought that the OS looks at the CPU type and thinks that the clock runnung at 600 MHz is actually running at 900 MHz and taking its timing from that. I found all the instructions at this site: http://eeepc-osx.wikispaces.com/To+do
