Guest chonkey Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 After 10 mins on the phone to t-mobile setting up mms, discovered that the phone won't let me send images bigger than 300K: 'Your message of 451K exceeds the sending limit of 300k' T-mobile insist its a limitation of the phone not the network. Does anyone know of anyway round this as its a bit pants really... And secondly.. in IE I have entered some usernames that I don't want cached. How do I clear those please? IE > Menu > Tools > Options > Memory 'Clear' and Security 'Clear' doesnt cut the mustard. More whinging... When I press the power button.. why doesn't the backlight come on? (I've unchecked 'Enable keyboard backlight auto sensor' Any help much appreciated. Cheers
Guest dolbe666 Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 1) the 300kb size limit works on the vario ive got but ive tried to switch the size over on my tytn II and it wouldnt so it is the phone and not the network, both phones are on t-mobile yet only ht eolder vario has the option to increase the size of outgoing mms mesages 2) you have to clear your cookies also I think 3) that is odd, try enabling the Enable Keyboard backlight again and see if it fixes the problem
Guest mandt Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 It's always set at 300K To ensure your MMS messages are always sent, without that annoying error message, open messaging, hit Menu>MMS Options and on the preferences tab under Photo resolution set a smaller size, I find SXGA the best compromise HTH

Guest mandt Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Aah I think maybe you're referring to the auto-compete function? Start>Settings>Input>Word Competion tab>Clear Stored Entries
