Guest derky Posted November 19, 2007 Report Share Posted November 19, 2007 Hi, I'm reaching the magical upgrade date this weekend and am, despite reservations over size, planning to get a Vario III to replace my Compact II. However, my main reason for getting the Vario rather than the Touch is that I am led to believe believe that 3G connections can receive incoming calls while the data connection is active, which isn't possible using T-Mob GPRS. So could any Vario III owners out there confirm that calls and sms come in as normal while, for example, listening to internet radio when connected via 3G/HSDPA? In theory it should allow both, but then GPRS is supposed to drop data and allow incoming calls, apart from on T's fruity implementation of it <_< Just want to make sure they haven't created a similar situation with their 3G.
