Guest CorruptedSanity Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 On my previous Symbian phone (m6ooi) I was able to group contacts according to my preferences. I had groups like friends, family, restaurants, banks and so on. So upon searching for a restaurant, I would set the view to restaurant only and then cycle to those contacts only. Very handy when you're hungry and want to see whats on your list. How do I go about doing that on my TyTN II? Thanks
Guest Alkali Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 Corupted, Select a contact> edit >go to catogoires. There are four catogories to choose from.
Guest cornishmanc Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 On a related issue, how do I send an SMS to a group of people in one go ? I can filter my contacts but I then want tto send them all the same text message and at the moment I can only do it by selecting manually each one and adding to a list in the text message I am writing. This gets too laborious after about seven or eight people.
Guest CorruptedSanity Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 Ok but that will take ages because I have 300 or so contacts. Any quicker way?
Guest lozzd Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 You can set up your categories in Outlook too.
Guest CorruptedSanity Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 How to quickly do that? Thanks
