Guest nellson Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 I just got the BJII and found the GPS to COM4 cab file. The NAV4ALL software I downloaded now sees I have an internal GPS on COM4, but it can't read it.. When I select GPS Info I get an [00000005] (cannot get port timeouts) I power the phone off and on after the CAB install. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest JemDogs Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 I would try a simple troubleshooting technique: test the GPS hardware using other software to determine if your hardware is faulty or your nav program is incompatible. I use Windows Live Search with the GPS; it takes a while for it to get a signal, but once it does it tracks quite well. You can grab it over-the-air at wls.live.com. See if the GPS works.
