Guest hotlips69
I'm trying to enable the SIM PIN, but I've no idea what this is by default to change it to something of my choice. I've had 2 incorrect attempts, and it says there is one remaining. I spoke to Vodafone and they know nothing about this and say there must be a specific default PIN on my phone, but the manual says to refer to my service provider! I'm worried if I do another incorrect attempt it will lock out my phone. Any ideas?
Guest Paul (MVP)
SIM PIN is, of course, set by the operator... they're telling pork pies methinks :( P
Guest hotlips69
You were correct Paul. I had another attempt at the SIM PIN (got it wrong for the 3rd time) and had to ring Vodafone for the PUK code. When I put this in with the new PIN that I wanted, it accepted it and all is now ok in that department. :(
