After a succesfull install on my new Tytn 2 I surfed the net and closed it down as I have done so many times on my P900 but now I cannot find operamini anywhere on my Tytn2 - do you have an idea...?

Yep, to the OP, If you look under 'Midlet Manager' it ought to be there. I have the TyTN II as well, and this is where Mini Opera 4 appeared when I installed it.

This worked for me:

Uninstall Opera mini

extract the zip I've attached here, install the EsmertecJbed MIDlet manager

Re-install OM, run it, Soft-reset

now paste selector.utf from the zip into \Windows\appdb

Enjoy :(

Not clickable? :D

How to make Opera mini to appear on the start list or on the program list?

Same principle for the non-beta one.
