Guest TheJackal2007
Hi, I recently bought a MDA Vario III on T-Mobile and I love the phone! However, I have a slight issue that hopefully someone can help me with: I have installed the s/w on my Vista PC and connected the phone via USB. I can navigate through the phone's filesystem and see the memory card (8GB) fine from the PC. However, when I start up Windows Media Player and attempt to sync some music, it all gets put into "My Device\Music". There doesn't seem to be an option in WMP to change the syncing to the memory card. Any ideas how I can make it default to syncing onto the memory card? Many thanks, The Jackal. Guest TheJackal2007
Hi all, Well, I managed to track down the answer myself (IIRC, it was in the main PocketPC forum here) and I thought I'd share it here in case anyone else had the same issue. It turns out that this is a bug with Windows Vista not giving WMP direct access to the memory card. The fix can be downloaded from this site: Microsoft support Cheers.
