Phew, what a crazy couple of weeks what with Christmas, New Year and all that jazz! I'm finally out the other side, all in one piece bar a sore throat (as you'll here on the video below), which means I finally have the chance to unbox a device that's been on my desk since Christmas Eve, the Eten X600!

The Eten X600, priced at £309.95 and available from eXpansys now, is Eten's first shot at a small Pocket PC, but without compromising the key things they always include on their devices, namely GPS and a FM Radio. The X600 lacks 3G, but leaves buyers wanting for little else.

The specs:

- Windows Mobile® 6 Professional
- Samsung SC3 2442 400 MHz Processor
- 128 MB Flash ROM, 64 MB SDRAM
- 2.8", 320 x 240 (QVGA)
- 107 x 58 x 14.7 mm
- 136g (with battery)
- GSM/EDGE Quad-band: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
- Bluetooth® v2.0 class 2 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)
- WiFi IEEE802.11b/g Certificated
- Embedded SiRF Star III GPS, TMC function supported (subject to change by region)
- Built-in 2.0 mega pixels - Fixed Focus CMOS camera
- 2.5mm Headset jack
- Lithium Polymer rechargeable with 1,530 mAh capacity
- Talk Time* : 5~6 hours
- Standby* : 150~170 hours
- Pocket PC usage* : 12~14 hours
- GPS usage* : 5~7 hours

Not bad, and in a nice compact case.

I'll be putting the device through it's paces over the coming week, but in the meantime, feel free to it me with any questions you have about the device, and check out my unboxing video above too :(
