Well my failed update on Thursday(not updating points) was using CA3 but I have never had a problem before.

I saved the update file and have tried via Navizon - but still no update !

Paul I have the file if it helps.

I have not had any points added to my total since installing the latest Cameraware version. It looks like there is an issue!

I have had Cameraware set to auto sync and it has said "sync complete" everytime I shut it down but no new points are showing on my total. Are the sites I collected lost?

I am havng the same problem as the previous poster.

Emailed navizon, had several email ending with

I have tested it using two different phones and the normal Navizon

program today. No matter how hard I try to break it, I can't.

Seems like you're having a problem with CamerAware - and I am not able

to reproduce the problem in the normal Navizon program. So As far as I

can tell there's nothing wrong with Navizon or the server. Maybe it's

CamerAware that needs to be fixed.

Hey, so it's not just me then! I thought I was imagining it and didn't want to jump to conclusions but it appears that all my points gathered using CA3 RC3 have been "lost" over the last few days.

AND - I use Navizon on another handset and that appears to have uploaded all the points OK over the same period of time!

Any similar problems or ideas anyone?

Version 3.080303 RC4 now online in first post.

NEW in this build:

- fixed 'web access failure' crash

- fixed autonight issues when going in / out of full screen mode

- changed screen touch behaviour to only exit full screen mode

- other minor fixes / tweaks

IMPORTANT

As this is now a release candidate and not a Beta, it will no longer co-exist with previous versions (non RC) versions. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you uninstall all previous versions before installing this build, and you will also need to reconfigure your options / credentials after install. If you are using RC1, RC2 or RC3, you CAN install RC4 over the top.

Finally, as mentioned previously, it's worth doing the 'net CF 3.5' update detailed in this post for improved performance.

Still talking to Navizon to try and determine if everything is working as it should btw. If you have synced and not seen points appear (even after a delay), please make yourself known :D

Did 400 miles over the weekend, still on the same points count this afternoon as i was on friday!

FYI, I used the last version before the one posted just above. And logged lots of new access pts and go noe credit for them. I haven't tried this new release yet. I'm going to hold off until I hear these issues are resolved. Thanks for the effort!

Hi Paul,

As I posted above - I don't appear to have any new points since using the latest version of Cameraware. (I thought the points were taking ages to come through!)

I haven't tried the new release you posted today but I will install it now and let you know how I get on.

Did about 300 miles over the weekend, had Navizone set to auto sync, no change to points total, and also tried a manual sync this afternoon still no change, using RC3 on a XDA Orbit2.

Yep, i'm awaiting a fix from Navizon, there is no API change in the version posted today.

This thread is interesting. It looks like it's not just Cameraware users having problems with a lack of points! :D

I've not had any points credited, despite uploading several hundred AP's in a new area and several cells. The uploaded sites show in "my data" but not in my points :D

At least if they're on the db you should get the points! (eventually :D)

Edit - no sign of the thousand or two i gathered over the weekend :(

I stated before that my spare handset with just Navizon running on it was updating points OK but this has now stopped working as well as the CamerAware handset so it does look like a Navizon problem after all!

I wonder if we'll ever see our "lost" points? :(

Edit: I just checked my rewards again and suddenly (after checking since Friday) there are some new points there!! I'll do some more logging over the next couple of days with both CA3 and Navizon to see what happens :(

I took the long way home from school, using both CA and Navizon program at the same time.

Logged over 400APs and 33 cell towers (vast majority new) and each time the CA synced, it lacked teh sentence " sucessfully synced" did it used to not say that??? I thought it did just like the navizon program proper. Anyways, of all the points I should have received, I only got about 40 which happened near the beginning soI thought it was working. But then nothing after the first 10 minutes. However, the points still moved over to within the brackets. Then when I got home, and closed the CA program, Navizon itself froze up on me before I synced it! Ack! Very frustrating. And none of the markers have showed up on the map (it was mostly unmapped territory).

So now still not sure which end the problem is on....CA or Navizon.

Did 2 runs today - one with CA and the other with Navizon.

The Navizon showed the data on the map within minutes after syncing via my laptop. The rewards came 7 hours later 23.15 GMT.

CA run showed nothing on the "My data" map and no rewards :D

I've had a few crashes with CamerAware using the sync now with navizon. In order for me to get Navizon to start on the Moto Q 9h, is to have a gps program already running, so the GPS is active before Navizon starts.

Also, is it necessary to have Wifi to get points, or will cell towers and gps work? I kept trying things last night, driving around so I could at least get a couple of cells, but I'm stuck at 0 0.

CamerAware starts up great and seems to be working properly, with the exception of reporting anything. I haven't seen my journey info work either. I get page not found.

RC4 version is uploading data correctly now for me. My last journey has shown up! :D RC3 never did anything for me.

From Navizon:

something was stuck in the queue of mapped points. It is now processing so all the points should show up in the rewards page very shortly.

So it SHOULD be fixed?

Hello Paul,

I wonder if you can remember that I was having problems with Bluetooth? I have now installed the Broadcom Bluetooth Driver on my Orange SPV M5000 WM6 PDA and know Cameraware works with my TomTom Bluetooth GPS Receiver.

I am using Cameraware Version 3.080303 Compact Framework: 3.5.7283.0

I am having a problem when I set the Display to show the Navizon stats it is always displays zero for both APS and Cells.

If it displays zero for APs and Cells you're not logging anything! It will display that until you get a fix...

Thank you for your Quick reply I have already got a GPS fix because if I go to Display Satellites it Displays 8 out of 10 3D Fix

I have installed Navizon and that is showing up as 1 AP and 0 Cells Located at the moment.
