Guest imp Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Some of the cars tend to get stuck on corners... Maybe it would be a good idea if you made it so that if you got stuck for too long you would be placed on the road again automatic... Like in Colin McRae or something... //imp
Guest midnight Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 ssshhhh, the other cars getting stuck on the background is the only way i can ever win
Guest malloc Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 A new version is available (same link as on page 1). I tweaked the gameplay (it's now easier), changed the camera position, added a 'hand brake', left/right control, and a timer. Next version will add sound and non "stuckable" AI  malloc
Guest Matt Whitfield Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Um, and that was the easy version??? ;-) I didn't try the first one, but the second one looks good. But much too fast... The engine seems pretty good for a smartphone! Looks like you've got lots of CPU cycles left... Try slowing it down and adding realism... Great effort! Keep it up :-D
Guest casper508 Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 How about a track map or something showing the locations of all cars. Cas
Guest midnight Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 oh, it is easier, finished first in a time of 78, and no opponent cars got stuck on the scenery  but, make one screw up on the scenery and you can easily finish last
Guest NederSoren Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 great game.. im sure it going to be fun when some of the small bugs has bin fixed
Guest Gorskar Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 How about a little warning icon that flashes up a second before you make a turn, or hit a dirt patch, like on alot of 3d race games. Might make it easier to control.
Guest malloc Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 New version with tweaked gameplay and sound released  MicroTurismo Alpha 0.2 The next version will (hopefully) have totally new (and far better) graphics  malloc
Guest kmon Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Fan-just a little to fast-Tastic.... good, simple to see, quick fun thanks in advance for all the hard work. kmon
Guest Lojt Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Yay, its actually possible to win now! Got 85 time at my first try!
Guest Gorskar Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Woo hoo! Much improved! Seems to be a slight bug with the race position it gives you at the end though - it told me I came 2nd when I was clearly 3rd, and then it told me I was 1st, when I was clearly 2nd. Are you going to add in fastest lap time also?
Guest Richie M Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Malloc - very nice, i know you have only just added sound but could we have a way of turning it off? Just when i play it at my desk my colleauges give me dirty looks

Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Copy it to your start menu over Activesync, then just run the file like a normal program
Guest NederSoren Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 no problem m8 hehe If you have all explorer, just put the file on you storagecard , and then us AE to find it. If not then you have to put it in you start menu, and then open it, then it will ask you where you want to install it (Phone/card) and at last you'll find it in programs--> games
