Guest steveoidm Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Hi, Has anyone managed to get this working on the standard linux install? Tried wmwifrouter but couldn't get it to work for some reason. Anyone got another way of using the kaiser as a modem on the standard linux install?? Thanks! Steve
Guest steveoidm Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 For anyone that is interested I got wmwifirouter to work. Definitely the best solution, bluetooth and usb (on linux) look tricky to setup. 1) Select options, configuration and make sure 'use dhcp allocator' is selected in wmwifirouter. 2) Goto wireless networks on the eee. It should find the wmwifirouter network. Go to its properties. You need to change its mode from auto to ad-hoc. It should now work!
