Need basic text document Editor

You would think that with all the applications (word, notes etc) that comes with WM6 I would have all I need to create a simple short document. Well the the fact is I CAN create stuff but because WM6 uses Word 7 or something the company I work for are using Word 2003 or lower. So I cant read my WM6 stuff other than on my Kaiser.

The documents I create on my Kaiser are not large and are basic so a simple no nonsense text editor will do?
