Guest sammo Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 I'm on my second Vario III. First returned to T-Mobile with problem of start menu disabled by phone function. I have MS direct push enabled with One & One hosted exchange . This worked perfectly for 18 months with Vario II. Now when I make a call the screen dims after 5 seconds then shuts down completly? The when you press the side button to get the screen back, the start function (top left of screen) is not available. the start button / tap will not bring up the start menu. other function like soft key work. Sometimes the start function can be restored by turning on an off the screen. why does the screen have to dim or shut down during a call? also seems to be linked to the security policy with MS push. Is this a common fault with MS push? are we still being used to test T-Mobile apps or is this redmond being lazy again? Cracking device but still a rubbish phone anyu one got a fix?
