Guest oldg1t Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 (edited) I downloaded & installed Opera 8.6 (one of the Plus membership 'benifits'). I have to admit I was dissapointed especially after trying Opera mini (which I thought pretty slick) and I expected Opera to be the same but with more functionalty. It wasn't of course. So I deinstalled it. Now whenever I try to open a link from an email or website I get the message "The file OperaLaunch cannot be opened either it isnt signed etc etc or one of its components cannot be found" I now have to copy and paste links into Internet explorer to make them work. I have tried reinstalling Opera but it makes no difference. I suspect there is still a registry setting that thinks opera is the default browser even after deinstalling. Any ides ? Thanks Edited March 3, 2008 by oldg1t
