Guest Stevo C
Just received a TyTnII as an upgrade for my M3100. One things starting to bug me though. Whenever I have to turn the screen back on, it always starts up at the Today screen, not the application I was last using. The Today Timeout in Settings is checked and set at 4 hrs. On the M3100 it works fine, I can be looking at something, the screen powers off, I turn it back on and it comes back to where I was. Anyone help please? cheers Steve Edited March 19, 2008 by Stevo C
Guest Webreaper
I think this is a WM6 thing. Ironically, one of the bugbears I had about WM5 was that if I put the device on standby and then bring it back, I had to dismiss the last app I was running in order to see the today screen. So I prefer it that way. I guess it's a bit of a hack that MS put in to solve the problem where WM5 used to frequently get into a state where the today screen could never been displayed....
