Web based text messages

I am sure everyone knew about this feature, but in looking up the correct address for ATT, I came across this site with all of the carrier addresses.

they do allow you to send a text but you must be a subscriber to the phone service so it more like whats the point

I do have a text plan(thown in, cause I would never use it), but I have my phone receiving alerts from my office SQL server working fine. The instruction from that ATT link you posted are using a diferent domain than what is suggested in the original post. How bout you give it a try?
