Guest stigdu Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Hi all, Hopefully a simple question for all you brainy PDA geeks out there... I currently use a 1gb micro SD card in my HTC Kaiser and wanted to upgfrade it to a 4gb or 6gb card. Before I take the plunge and order a new card, is there an easy way to transfer all the stuff currently on my existing card to the new one once I get it, so that all I have to in theory is put the new card in, and everything will work the way it used to? Thanks very much! :D
Guest RickDawson Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Just connect the card to the computer (not by the mobile). copy the files to the computer. swap the card. copy the files to the new card. use the new card in your mobile.

Guest Confucious Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 The 8Gb one from http://www.mobymemory.com/micro-sd.asp comes with a USB reader for 30 squid - they do smaller ones if you want and come highly recommended.
Guest Mr Alom Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 I did exactly what Rick posted when I upgraded my phone to the Kaiser and bought a 2G card a year ago. It worked perfectly fine, no problems at all and when I inserted the card to my device it recognised all my programs instantly on the memory card as normal. :D
