T-mobile UK Vario III recommended radio

Guys, I've used a few different flashed roms and after being a bit of an amatuer, I am now addicted to the regular flashing of my device.

I've used the TLR Kaiser 3.08.02.21 WM6.1 rom with vodaphone radio and I've now switched camps to Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid v2 5.2.19716/5.2.19700 and the included radio1.65.14.06.

This seems to be slightly better at getting a signal and quicker to start downloading data. Am I imagining a difference? Is there a general agreement about what the best radio for WM6.1 T-mobile UK is? I'd be grateful if someone good advise,
