Broken LCD

HI there.

I have searched through the forum looking at all the various solutions to fixing a broken LCD screen on the TyTn II. I unfortunately broke mine today however its just the LCD thats broken not the screen.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a reliable place to get the phone fixed in the UK or order replacement parts and Ill do it myself?

Is there a guide on how to do it yourself?

Finally, I had an HTC Vox before my TyTn II and its LCD broke as well...it makes me wonder of the integrety of the phone itself!

I have found a service on eBay that looks quite good but need a recommendation. Not sure which one I need:

My phone, when I turn it on is mainly white with black lines near where I broke it. The glass screen itself is neither cracked or damaged. Do I need a new LCD or Touch Screen?

Have to agree. I've had my Kaiser for 8 months, had an XDA Mini S for 2 years before that, and never damaged either of them (other than scratches). In fact, in 15 years of owning mobile phones (changing about every 12 months) I've never cracked a screen!
