Internet Sharing and MSN Messenger

Hi there,

Internet Sharing works fine on my Mda Vario III, however, I am unable to use regular MSN when connecting via this method.

Is there any way to use regular MSN over Internet Sharing?

do you have web 'n' walk standard or plus - as far as i am aware you need plus or max to technically be allowed to, then t-mobile will be able to help you. there was also a thread on here that mentioned only certain versions of messenger worked properly

To be honest, I am not sure which version I am on - I assume standard.

I get a small H icon with two arrows when using Internet Sharing.

The error code MSN gives is: 80072745

righto. how much is web 'n' walk costing you each month? if its £12.50 or more you should be okay, if its £7.50 then you're on standard

can you succesfully use messenger on yout phone (download it from xda-devs if you need it)

I think it's 7.50 but I haven't had any reason to double check as it has been working fine for everything including using Messengeron the device itself.

Is it simply a case of needing to be on the 'more expensive' plan? :D

Yeah... or use a VPN (I use WiTopia) to get round such nasty things!
