Guest claremont4 Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Is anyone else experiencing their screening turning off but the indicator lights are still flashing? I am on my second phone now (the screen cracked) and it has this sams problem and a friend also has the same problem. The only way you can get the screen to come back on again is to remove the battery.
Guest monkeygadge Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Try pressing the power button to 'wake up'. If this works then look at settings>Key Lock, and Settings>Backlight
Guest Griff_FFOC Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 My Dual quite often will not wake up from standby. The green light still flashes as if it's on, but pressing the standby button does nothing. The only solution is a battery pull. It sounds like this is what you are saying is happening to yours too. The only thing i've installed is Co-pilot Live, and the Modaco C-A cab fix. I've also added a 4gb Sandisk HC card to it.
Guest claremont4 Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Pressing the power button doesn't do anything and changing the setting doesn't help either. Try pressing the power button to 'wake up'. If this works then look at settings>Key Lock, and Settings>Backlight

Guest teekay426 Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 I just sent mine back to the phone company because it was doing this. I think it may be related to having a picture on the desktop. When I leave the screen as standard it does not have this porblem. I could be wrong of course.

Guest l3v5y Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 me too.... appear to be no pattern that I've noticed so far. Has anyone tried a hard reset, and then not installing anything at all! Or alternatively, a ROM other than the stock ROM?
Guest Griff_FFOC Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 forgot to mention this is the orange version. (just in case it's an Orange rom issue.
