Guest wi11 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 I'm using my TYTN II as a USB modem with my laptop and noticed the power usage goes up from around .50A to around .90A when the phone is connected via USB. If I set the phone to not charge when plugged in, it's still around .70A. Does anyone use a Huawei 3G USB stick and know if they'd use less power?

Guest wi11 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 what are you using to measure the power usage on your tytnII? There is a power management app included on the Thinkpad, that shows the power usage in real time.
