recommendations required : portable charger / battery

hi,

i'm looking for some recommendations on a portable charger / battery for my htc kaiser.

i'd like to be able to charge it before i go away and top it up in the car when i'm away.

i have one of these which was ideal as it could be charged via usb (car / laptop, etc) and came with a multitude of adaptors so that i could use it for my mp3 player as well as my phone but i found the solar panels to be useless in scotland (funny that) and it stopped taking a charge after a while.

i've found the "emergency charger" (search it on firefox) to be excellent for this. its very cheap (~6 quid) and simply runs of a single AA battery. on cheap batteries you won't get much out of it but if you use decent batteries (energizer lithium etc) then you should be kept going for a while (and its dead easy to find mor power for them)

I carry the proporta one.. and 1 miniusb cable. It charges from a mains adaptor or a USB port and then will charge up anything with a miniusb socket
