Guest mrdo Posted July 21, 2008 Report Share Posted July 21, 2008 hi, i'm looking for some recommendations on a portable charger / battery for my htc kaiser. i'd like to be able to charge it before i go away and top it up in the car when i'm away. i have one of these which was ideal as it could be charged via usb (car / laptop, etc) and came with a multitude of adaptors so that i could use it for my mp3 player as well as my phone but i found the solar panels to be useless in scotland (funny that) and it stopped taking a charge after a while. http://www.firebox.com/product/1796/FreeLo...CFSVPEAodjHUglw any other recommendations ? thanks in advance ... Guest andrewkeith5 Posted July 21, 2008 Report Share Posted July 21, 2008 i've found the "emergency charger" (search it on firefox) to be excellent for this. its very cheap (~6 quid) and simply runs of a single AA battery. on cheap batteries you won't get much out of it but if you use decent batteries (energizer lithium etc) then you should be kept going for a while (and its dead easy to find mor power for them) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
