Ah, Leisure Suit Larry, now there's a blast from the past... I swear the franchise has been around as long as the PC :D Now it's here for Windows Mobile!

From Wikipedia:

Leisure Suit Larry is the title character of a series of adult adventure games written by Al Lowe and published by Sierra On-Line from the 1980s to the present. The character, whose full name is Larry Laffer, is a balding, dorky, double entendre-speaking, leisure suit-wearing (but still somewhat lovable) "loser" in his 40s who spends much of his life trying (usually unsuccessfully) to seduce attractive women.

Now if that doesn't sound like a great game character I don't know what does! :D

About Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail
Leisure Suit Larry hits the high seas as he cruises for love in this comic adventure game, which mixes hilarious dialogue, mini-games and puzzles.

Your favorite smooth talker from the 80’s hit the high seas as he cruises for love! Leisure Suit Larry: Love For Sail is a mobile re-production of the classic Larry PC game. Become Larry as he tries to woo the most beautiful, unsuspecting female vacationers. Larry has seemingly infinite opportunities to use his signature lines, including a plane, cruise ship, beaches, and the casino. He is on the trip of a lifetime and the theme provides the perfect summer fun. Will Larry score a date? You control Larry’s fate.

Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail retails at $9.99 from WinPlay, and is compatible with both Smartphone and Pocket PC devices. Sadly, there is no trial version available so I can't tell you whether a) it's any good and :( it's as, er, 'dodgy' as previous installments in the franchise.

If you've played it, give us your verdict!

now that brings back memorys!

answering the questions to prove your age etc :D

Yes indeed... especially as most of the questions had a strong American bias, and most U.K. players, even if they were over the required age, probably wouldn't have known some of the answers anyway!

Happy Days!

This is bittersweet, because by looking at that screen shot, it appears this is sadly just a port of the sub-par java cell phone version that was watered-down and sugared-up to make it less risqué. However, this is about the only way you can play any version of Larry's last true adventure before the death of the original Sierra. This is a butchered version of the game that was "accidentally" omitted from the Vivendi re-release of the Larry collection. (The only reason they "accidentally" left this game out of the collection is because they didn't want to have to try to sell the collection with an ESRB Rating of "AO" for Adults Only due to the fact that some of the easter eggs in the game allowed you to see pixelated female nudity.) However, I did appreciate the fact that they threw some fun little cool stuff for old Sierra fans, such as cameos by Ken and Roberta Williams (co-founders of Sierra On-Line), and Larry's creator himself, Al Lowe. All in all, kind of a mixed bag for adventure fans.

You could have always cheated your way past the questions. :D
