Guest RickDawson
I would like to know of anything as well. I'd like to know if, when I'm in my car I can get the phone (voice calls) to be turned off, but still use the 3G data connection.
Guest PPCInformer
I think you should have a look @ MortScript , you should be able to setup various events based on you requirements.
Guest crazyc
I believe that PhoneAlarm will do this.
Guest WearTheFoxHat
PhoneAlarm ... another recommendation here. Also I've been advised that it has location based awareness, so it can "understand" that you are at work, and for example put the phone into a more sensible ring tone, quieter alerting, no wifi etc. Of if it realised you are at home, it can put the phone into Home mode and turn off 3g but activate wireless for example. Yep. And it also has the ability to trigger on other hardware-related events, such as being put into a cradle, having the headset attached (e.g., when I plug my RC W100 headset in, it automatically launches my music player). :D
Guest WearTheFoxHat
Oooh ... I wish it could realise that I was in the car, and switch bluetooth on, and switch to car mode. Might be hard to set conditions for that event though.

(and then deliberately not drive past work otherwise it will change your profile back to work mode!)

(and then deliberately not drive past work otherwise it will change your profile back to work mode!) Ah, well, not if you configure it right. I have a mortscript which runs TomTom, and also executes paWakeup.exe to switch it into 'Car' profile, locking the profile, so that when I'm driving past work, or arrive at my house, it remains in 'Car' mode. When I quit Tomtom, the mortscript then unlocks the profile, and PA automatically switches to the correct profile depending on where I am. It's very slick. :D
