I've still got the stock Orange ROM that came with my device, and although it works OK, I often find that it looses signal, or doesn't lock onto a 3G signal as well as my other phones. The problem is that I sync with Lotus Notes via Active Sync, rather than outlook, so pictures saved to contacts, voice commands, etc, are lost if I have to sync to blank device. I also don't want to loose all my settings and installed programs. Can anyone suggest a good backup program for this purpose? Or is this not a good thing to do if upgrading to a newer ROM? But if you want to risk it (as all you will end up with is the possible need to hard reset anyway) then eiher sprite or spb backups are pretty good. Make sure you hard reset your device after flashing and before setting it up - which seems mad but it cures no end of issues. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
