i gaved up.....

i can't use this phone with only UMTS 2100 band and without 850 band..... the 2100 band only i can't use the phone inside buildings in my country... only 850 band is "getting inside" buildings.. 2100 RF band don't get good inside buildings....

so i got new iphone 3G (all bands).. but i'll keep watch this topic...

of course.. if i'll be able to borrow it for some time, i'll dump the rom..

on this days it's alittle problem.. because this I900L it's new phone in my company and they testing it all they long.. it's even was hard to me to take it and check Version like i did... B) they just working on this phone allll the time!@# alll day!!@#$

soon as they will finish test it.. i'll have it in hands all day..

as i said.. i'll keep update with this Thread... and if i'll have something or any idea.. i'll write here.

Is the Omnia chip the same as the HTC phone one? if so maybe its possible to rip the radio firmware from htc and flash on the omnia? What you guys think?

Turb0wned bought a HTC diamond, but the thing is that none of us has the experience to modify or cook a ROM, not to mention the radio part alone.

Two devices that would be closer are the I907 (CPU is PXA311 vs PXA312, Radio chip is the Same. Triband 850/1900/2100 HSDPA/HSUPA

Same everything from what I can tell. You can set your region to Venezuela on current Roms (but not on older Roms).

Unfortunately this doesn't do anything in particular.

Venezuela uses 850/1900 similar to ATT, Fido, Rogers.

I am starting to wonder if it is in the phone options that you access with the special numbers or .exe files in the system menu Like Administer.exe or SoundTest.exe
