Hey guys,

can anyone else apart Quang confirm poor battery behavior

with DHH3/DXHH1 ROMs? Everyone promised to do some testing

but no one posted the results yet.

I've stuck with XXHG5 on mine and the battery seems perfect

but performance is somewhat terrible. Can't decide whether I

need an upgrade or not.

DXHH3 gives crap battery life. Go straight to DXHI1 if you're going to upgrade, my battery is fine now

this firmware sucks big time.... After I flashed my phone the batter dies over night while the screen is off and no programs running in the background and no the wireless is not on. if anyone can post DXHG3 which is what i had out of the box I would appreciate it.

flash to DXHI1 (or HI2), battery should be perfect then

HI1 and HI2 are they the same or is the radio a different version from HI2? if it is different can I upgrade to HI1 then do HI2 after?

I have just bought omnia ... from usa but iam in cairo ..my version is DZHH3 ... i want to upgrade to the best verison which has the english as the main language ...

And for example if i want to upgrade to XHI2 ..do i upgrade from to HH3 to XHI2 directly or need to upgrade to another version 1st..?

Hi to all. I flashed my rom Flawlessly.Very nice Rom with a very important bug for me. After a while Accelerometer stops working(Rotation)after waking up from stand by mode. I activate and deactivate the motion sensor option couple of times, still with no luck.The only way to get it back working is to reset the device. But after stand by back on again, same problem ;) It is weird that one of the most exciting features of this phone has a bug. Maybe it is just mine. Does anybody has a similar problem...

hi, amm i just got my omnia i900 but i'm having trouble with the samsung widget each time i use it my omnia gets too slow :lol: my current version is

pda: i900dxhg4/dxhg4

phone: i900dxhg4

does this firmware fiz battery life, performance, and so?

if i update mi omnia does the service from my celphone company gets trouble?

i would like my omnia to be in english is this the newst and best firmware in english?

Updated my phone last night and it works much better now.

I have noticed a vast improvement in the phone and was amazed at how easy it was. Your instructions were flawless. I had to try it twice, on 2 different machines. The first time I tried it it stopped immediately with a message like open.cfile failed. I waited 20 mins and no change. I unplugged the phone and pressed the reset button and it came back with all my data so no harm done. Tried with a differant machine and it worked first time, bout 10 mins start to finnish. Then a further 15 mins putting VC and McGuider back on. Realy happy with the result.

Image browsing and manipulation seems much improved (As it should have been new without an upgread to the firmware) Great forum

the DXHI2 you have.. it's "Official" Samsung Factory ROM?

i have the DXHJ1/DZHJ1 installed from the "Official" Samsung webpage.. so i have the last one?

if the DXHI2 it's Official ROM, how we can't find it on Samsung-Web Pages for update?

(i just don't want to install not Official Roms.. i had enogh bad times with some of them.. B) )

I am getting the same problem. I just got my phone in the US, from Verizon. I think the problem is that Activesync is not connecting. Since earlier posts have stated that activesync has to be running to complete the update, how do you get activesync running during the update process? When i do the soft reset (to start the update), activesync will not connect.

Also, even after the above error, doing a soft reset will boot up the phone, but it wont connect to verizon's network. when going into the pone app, i get an error message that it could only make emergency calls because there is no sim card installed. Will this update work for GSM carriers?

(UPDATE): i have heard that the update that we are trying to do through this thread will brick the phone, at least on vzw....does anyone have the Verizon ROM that they can share? i need to restore to factory settings?????????????
