I must be getting old... after HI1 update I can't seem to find where to change the Device ID... (Normally Omnia i900)

From memory, it was under Settings > Phone > ... ??

i900XJHI3 comes with branded one, so I customized an non-brand csc there, hope it can make a pair and work with thoese non-brand Phone,PDA part.

Yep landslot no Chinese SIP. The camera from what I can tell so far is more responsive, the hand shake stablizing works much better, time to focus and shot made quicker and close ups are more focused. It give the option of storage card or my storage in the connections settings (always did no matter what verision of ROM). Overall more zippy ROM :wacko: ;) . Secany is the man.

What do you mean by " most of the Rom Italian i900XIHH9 " ?

1-Do you mean that if I upgrade to i900DXHI1 , I will have the name of programs, icons,...etc in Italian language ? can not be in English ? I really need a fast rom, but in English.

2- Do we run samsung driver first , then run the updater, then connect to the activesync 4,5 and finally reset the mobile? just like we did for HH3 on XP computer ?

One more silly question : what is the difference between Branded and Non branded ?

After upgrade, input *#2470# with Sim card inside, it will upgrade the camera firmware too. MAKE SURE YOU LET THE PHONE RUN BEFORE TURNING OFF AT LEAST 5 MINS.

ok well ive upgraded to the latest rom secany posted and all seems fast

but one problem i have now is the screen auto rotate function stops working sometimes and the only way to fix it is to soft reset

anyone else got this?

edit: never mind think ive solved it altho it seems to be a strange fix

i turned the back light back on and it appears to be fixed
