I found HK1 on some other website... PDAMOBIZ. It's some Thai website which i don't really understand... Is it STOCK ROM or has it been modified to something else?? EG; Lite or etc?

after downloading, The file name shows as, Dhee_i900DXHK1.exe.

I want stock ROM and not the modified one.. Does anyone here read Thai? B)

Thanks. Thank God i didn't flash it. Anyways, when can we expect DXHK1 for "non-donating" Users? I Really, seriously, obviously could use the GPS tweaks. So far, HJ1 has been good to me... But the GPS is seriously letting me down.

I'm currently using Garmin Mobile XT. V.4.20.20wp. Is there any latest updates?

Paul... personally i don't think you should clean it up at all.

Why - well asking for a donation and then complaining about it is not right.

A DONATION can be any amount.

there is no LIMIT to a donation - from 1Cent to Whatever amount.

When a person uses the donation Paypal Link and makes a mockary of the person for donating 26cents well that in some

sense is not a DONATION the person is asking for, but that person is asking for money.

Secany should state that these are not donations - this is a Pay Me Money and you will get a rom first.

what if a person donated 75Cents? US figures.

or $1.00 to some people that is a donation.. If you have the Salvation Army where you guys live, they will accept anything - and that is the true definition of a DONATION.

Everyone is entitled to their Opinion, but Wake up and realize what the word DONATION MEANS.

so whoever donated 26cents well guess what.. that IS a donation AND that DONATION IS LEGIT. dont DISPLAY that BUTTON if you can't accept it. end of story.

0.26 is not a donation since it got nulled out by the PayPal fees. Ie. it amounted to absolutely 0

That donation was obviously done just in spite by someone who knew exactly how much to send for it to be nulled out by the PayPal fees.

Thanks marciorr and others for the gps info.

One thing I did notice is that the camera does take a bit more time to initialise the gps. And also, gps apps that do not use agps (ie iGo) get no benefit from the xtras data. That said, iGo still gets fixes much faster then before ie fix between 15-30secs vs up to 3 or more minutes before K2.

Now that this part has been sort of fixed. Perhaps Samsung should turn to another major shortcoming - the camera, ie quality, retention of settings etc. Quality etc was exceptional with the G2 rom, HH1 was also ok but since then it has been @#%$%@#$^WE%@$%@

I totally agree with you, the camera sucks. Outdoor pictures are OK, but indoor have lots of noise and focus problems. If you turn the anti-shake on you get more noise. I hope this get fixed soon.

you can extrat phone.bin yourself by use i900tools.exe http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach...st&id=25316 that I have been post it in this site. after you got that tool (i900tools) just drag rom file over that tool then it's automatic extract file for you

Hi, i just bought my i900 yesterday and the rom is a little bit old, so i want to update to a newest one. My problem is, I need my phone to be able to read and write chinese characters, it doesn't matter if the menu is in english, in fact i prefer it (i'm living in China and i'm not chinese)

I read that the DZ and the DX roms are the same but the first one, DZ, includes chinese input, but i'm not whether it also includes the fonts.

I found some links in kingmobile talking about the i900DZHK2, but all the posts are in chinese and i can't understand it.

secany, or any who know that, can you help me to know whether the HK2 has chinese support? (fonts and input at least, menu in chinese or english, this doesn't matter) if not, what rom shall i use?

I haven't donate yet, i will as soon as i can know this information, i just need to be sure that this rom is useful for me.

well, i think it's not worth it to keep flashing every single newer rom there is (as i'm doing now). ofcourse, if you have an older rom and you flash to dxhk2, you'll notice a (big) difference, but the improvements from dthj5-dthj6-dthj9-dxhk1 to dxhk2 (kinda the track that i've been following) are almost too little to notice.

ofcourse it is getting better and better and hopefully in the future we'll get a near perfect rom (i set my bets on wm 6.5, because a lot of current problems are wm based and not samsung based), but the speed at which it is improving is just very slow.

common'! after all this time the camera is still not able to retain it's settings!

(we do got this dice game though, but it made me have to do the dishes 3 times in a row B) )
