one of our forum members (p30world & omnia-persian-users.blogspot.com) flash this rom and there is two problom :

1.when playing music it pause spontaneously

2.when it is in standby(sleep) by pressing keys it will be waake up & do the key function !

is it a usual error with k2?

Which rom - the untouched one or the customised one?

Using the untouched here - no such issues. Any of the buttons brings it out of standby and music / vids play just fine.

My GPS connects so fast that sometimes it scares the s**t out of me... hahaha...Am loving HK2... I can even connect to my GPS while i am indoors 30 feet from my nearest window/door.

Sensitivity is OK.

Touch player is OK.

Memory is OK.

But what i really need is a software for weather updates and The camera is really crappy for a 5MP. I tried Sony Ericssons 3.2MP cybershot and it's very very good. Is Samsung going to do anything about this?

Thank you once again for HK2. I will stick with this Rom for a while. B)

Which GPS app are you using ?

Agreed about the camera - I think Samsung devs have lost their way with all these constant rom updates but never really doing much to fix the problems that have been there since day 1 (or later "enhanced" to make them worse then before).

I think the constant ROM updates have been great - I am really pleased that Samsung have not only been stabilising the set ups (better touch sensitivity, better speed/battery balance, better GPS performance) but also started to change the flaws. The new album view was a huge step forward in the useability of the TouchPlayer. So long as Samsung doesn't rest on their laurels and the other problem areas get reworked - this will soon be a truely great device.

hmm, looks like it time to do some update to my phone.

No need to thank me, I was only cruising the net and found the links. As I've beeen helped before by members of this Modaco community it was time to do somethimng back. Btw today I will try Garmin after using IGO8 an Sygic McDrive for a while now.

I´m from Malaysia and bought a Omnia in Germany, I have the problem of changing the language, so I downloaded the file from your site but seems the USB drive port not possible to create after going through half the installation. How can I get a good ROM installer for Malaysia user? Please advice which ROM to use is best. I need the English version. thanks in advance.
