Guest pdaphonemaster Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 I flashed to HK3 this morning and have been busy installing aps, etc. From the start this version shows errors with my existing aps especially when after finishing installation. It shows wceload.exe error message. I so far had 2 gews.exe errors, 1 device.exe. error and 1 opera.exe error. I used to only have gwes.exe errors with HK1, and with HK2 no errors. Sadly, it seems HK3 buggier than HK2 with not apparent benefits (same storage mem, etc.) I am going back to HK2..... So, my suggestion to those who already have HK2, stick to it.

I would love to be able to see the changelog / release notes for this release first. ... Going to stick with HK2 for now ... Also Taiwan version already goes to HL1 .... Are we expecting HL1 for english version as well?

So, my suggestion to those who already have HK2, stick to it. i guess the errors you mention are mainly device-specific. because i've never had any of those errors and some other guys had exactly the same errors as you. i don't notice any difference with either hk1 or hk2. the biggest changes are probably small bug fixes that most of us didn't even encounter yet  still a solid rom though and i see no reason to go back :)
Guest s_wind Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 thanks secany!your rom is very good and gps lock at the moment.thanks again!!!!!!!!!!
Guest pdaphonemaster Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 I may have spoken too soon. Now that I got back to HK2 I decided to reinstall all aps instead of restoring from a back up. I then had the same list of errors that I discovered with HK3. So, it must have been the order of aps installs that are causing the errors. So, my conclusion is that there is very little difference between HK2 and HK3. I will flash back to HK3 in a minute just for the sake of having the newest rom. I know, I am an addict.
Guest tammam Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Hey guys, Is this (HK3) a leaked official update? If not then, how is it different from an official update? Regards, Tammam
Guest IZIIZI Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Do the latest roms have Flash Lite 3.1? Can you view youtube in browser? Been using custom rom for past two months so out loop.
