i900DXHL2 (not HL1) coming soon. LOTs more widget, widgets settings, PocketFS, etc...

in my network conections i have put my work network with no 3g acess , and all is doing great :)

when i whant 3g i go to options , never he have connected to 3g without my permition

I just noticed with that the windows system messages no longer need to be pressed in the corner at the "OK" marker. If I press anywhere on the message it disappears! Which ROM did they introduce that!??!!?

I am really looking forward to the L2 ROM and new widgets. I am almost sad to be going to Vietnam for holidays for three weeks - looks like my new widgets will have to wait til 2009 :rolleyes: But I am hoping to find a TV out cable in vietnam... been almost impossible to find in Oz!

jeah the omnia team from samsung is doing a great job with creating upgrades on such a rather big scale a year after the devices first release... i just hope they will keep doing this for at least another year and also include wm 6.5 around march :rolleyes: :)

about the wifi problem discussed here, i've not noticed it yet. i did have a problem with opera suddenly shutting down completely, but i haven't figured out what was causing that and it didn't happen the last couple of days.

However I agree its nice to see Samsung looking like they are really behind the Omnia and bringing more widgets and hopefully an upgrade to WM 6.1 - 6.5 I dont think is going to happen for any phone going by past history. Though without Secany I think the release rate of new firmware would not be as impressive.

agree, i cant believe though, that secany is the 'only person in the world' who can get hold of and post these new roms.

Load the .csc file under CSC

updated from J9 to K2 yesterday, tried K3 now. Very irritating thing started to happen from k2, still on K3 also:

Do this:

Start wifi

Start opera

Browse a bit

Exit opera

wait a few seconds

Switch off Wifi

and...

Then out of nowhere a 3G connection is made !

No emails configured, activesync shut down, doesn't happen without browsing, happens also with IE.

Anybody can confirm, or have a clue how to solve it ?

If you're like me on a Eu 0.75 per 15 minute (minimal) subscription this is very irritating.

primarily it is coz the opera/ie browser is still running in the background

you can confirm this using the task manager and then end it

you would also want to check the alternate connections that connect to the internet automatically - this is ur 3G connection (so when you switch off your wifi and the browser is still running in the background it will use the alternate connection)

you may also check a value in registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Opera\Preload]

if RealExit value is 0, change it to 1 and soft-reset.

now opera will close when you tap de X button, so you can run your tests.

Annoying. Hopefully, using Modaco NODATA should stop your 3G connection from connecting. Have you tried that? Fantastic, tiny app.

Load the .csc file under CSC

Hi Guys......I'm using DXHK1 Rom and now I want to flash the chinese input from DZHJ1 .csc file....

I'm using Grandprix on windows vista, but once I load the .csc under CSC and press DETECT,

the progress bar only shown "Waiting for the device" but not running.....

Somebody please correct me if I am mistaken somethings?
