I know that we have the old saber but this seems to be better. http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2009/01/05/htc...ight-saber.html Mine crashes for some reason Looks neat-o... maybe it uses OpenGLES and thats why it won't work on the omnia? What is the error when the app crashes? There were some some OpenGLES dlls in some thread around here, but I'm not sure if they even really worked....
Guest Tonza Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 (edited) The error message is: SensorDemoNET35.exe NullReferenceException kohteessa GSensorSDK.HTCGSensor.get_Orientation() kohteessa SensorDemoNET35.SensorDemo..ctor() kohteessa SensorDemoNET35.Program.Main() (funny, i don't know why it is in finnish since i have an english rom :( well, "kohteessa" means "in object") Edited February 25, 2009 by Tonza
Guest monahellermyr Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 Improved version of the BouncingBall "game". Folder needs to be copied under \Program Files\. (hardcoded images :( ) Tapping screen closes application. Pressing action button does calibration. how do i get into program files on my omnia? I have my USB in, but i cant find program files on my computer.

Guest Tonza Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 How can I get this OpenGLES for my Omnia?
Guest goranm Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 (edited) Here is a Tetris game using Omnia's accelerometer. Tilt the device to move the piece left/right/down. Touch the screen to rotate, press action to pause. Calibration is performed when the new game is started and also when the game is resumed from pause. It's not much but it can be fun :( Tnx to speleomaniac for his work on accelerometer! UPDATED TO v1.1 --------------------- Navigation works when autorotate is off smooth scrolling Fixed some bug with the settings OmniTrisInstallerV1.1.CAB Edited March 3, 2009 by goranm

Guest Tonza Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Great app!! It really works extremely well. I was a bit sceptical about the user inteface but it really is easy to control. GREAT WORK! Want more games/apps like this :(
Guest TheDrizzle Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 How can I get this OpenGLES for my Omnia? I got some DLLs from the first post of this thread: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...-beta-on-omnia/ But I still couldn't get any OpenGLES stuff to run correctly...
Guest BJ Silverbolt Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 anybody found any games similar to the touch diamond game??? Try Resco Bubbles I think it will satisfy your appetite for rolling a ball around with an accelerometer
Guest valkryomnia Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 sorry i forgot to upload a partially working version of HTC dll's. copy the 2 files from HTCEmu.zip into windows directory of your phone. games and apps which seem to work (some can be played): G-Invaders and Caver from ageye.de: http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=download SensorMaze from http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment...mp;d=1218101989 3D Model Viewer from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428608 Diamond Cubes from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...mp;postcount=33 (must have OpenGLES installed, can't confirm if it's working beacuse i don't have OpenGLES) Kai's Bubble Level.Net.1.5 from http://classic.pocketgear.com/downloads.as...Level.Net%201.5 Lightsaber from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408147 Diamond Beer from http://www.palmtopmagazin.de/software/?a=d...0529&dev=12 (starts but nothing happens :( ) have fun playing. I cant download this file, would you mind giving me a bit more detail? I'm trying to get teeter to work. Also, any chance you could make this game work, Speleo? Hellorun.com Maybe make it a g-sensor game, rotate to make the game change gravity, and tap where you want to go, etc? Thanks! You rule.

Guest TheDrizzle Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I cant seem to get it working with an accelerometer... is there anything else I need in its folder? Same here... can't get it to work... vzw i910. Nothing happens when I tilt the phone...
Guest Jumba Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 The game seems to use the Omnia's accelerometer without needing the htc sensor .dlls. Try temporarily renaming htcapi.dll and htcsensorsdk.dll in your /Windows folder.
Guest i900french-addict Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I had to activate the "auto rotation" of the screen to get it working (it doesn't auto rotate during the game of course, but with rotation set on a button and not auto, impossible to move the pieces) , but I did not have to rename htc dlls

Guest valkryomnia Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Same here... can't get it to work... vzw i910. Nothing happens when I tilt the phone... I got it working on my i910. I just have to recalibrate the phone using BubbleLevel first. Try it out, should work.
Guest Puffkin123 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I'm having problems with a few applications and many games that when the screen is auto rotated it crashes or messes up the game. Is there any program that lets me assign games and other programs to disable rotate when opened??

Is there any program that lets me assign games and other programs to disable rotate when opened?? Yep, RotationService will do that for you. You'll need to edit the .xml file that comes with the app to add your programs to the rotation list.
Guest beranimus Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 brand new version, all files go to \Windows directory. added a control panel applet where you can calibrate the readings of htcemudk.dll. check under settings->system. I can't find the calibration menu you are talking about. I have .7 on my i910 vzw omnia. Help Also I cant get the hologram to look like a hologram at all.
