Guest X2Stone Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Hi; The Resco Bubbles is now available for Samsung Omnia (version 1.20). Works great, the best accelerometer game at this moment for Omnia. Very, very good. http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/bubbles/ :D Woua, i just test it and it's true that's it's really good ! ;) Just a newbie question for Speleomaniac (you rock man !) : i have a new Omnia, nothing installed, i have just installed this game (bubbles) and it works directly, it requieres nothing... So it's possible to make games or apps that use native g-sensors of the Omnia and don't requiere dll's, .NET, etc... Do U think you'll be able to compile LunarTilt, Teeter or whatever so that we just have to launch .CAB and play ? 2nd question (smarter than the previous one i hope  ) : I know Flash dev (AS2 & AS3), do you think a Flash program can access G-sensors values ?

Guest ABZ123 Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 (edited) sorry i forgot to upload a partially working version of HTC dll's. copy the 2 files from HTCEmu.zip into windows directory of your phone. games and apps which seem to work (some can be played): G-Invaders and Caver from ageye.de: http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=download SensorMaze from http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment...mp;d=1218101989 3D Model Viewer from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428608 Diamond Cubes from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...mp;postcount=33 (must have OpenGLES installed, can't confirm if it's working beacuse i don't have OpenGLES) Kai's Bubble Level.Net.1.5 from http://classic.pocketgear.com/downloads.as...Level.Net%201.5 Lightsaber from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408147 Diamond Beer from http://www.palmtopmagazin.de/software/?a=d...0529&dev=12 (starts but nothing happens  ) have fun playing. Thanks. Edited October 30, 2008 by ABZ123
Guest Yunabeco Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Of course, I'm going to give you a serial I paid for on a public forum discussing about the device. (That's a joke, by the way; don't PM me on the subject either, please) Come on, get real. What kind of joke is this? It's not even expensive. Well, that aside, I can't even get it to work on the Omnia; when I launch Resco Bubbles, it simply closes without further warnings. I'll try installing again; anybody got this problem?
Guest 1Mack Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Sorry to hear that man. I got it and it ROCKS  :D . Did you try installing the HTC files that speleomaniac provided and resetting or removing them and resetting? Of course, I'm going to give you a serial I paid for on a public forum discussing about the device. (That's a joke, by the way; don't PM me on the subject either, please) Come on, get real. Guest imacken Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 serial? Why don't you just buy it for a few dollars and support an excellent little piece of software?
Guest Yunabeco Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Solved my problem by installing through the EXE file and not the CAB.
Guest X2Stone Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 (edited) I have nothing special installed on my Omnia and it works perfectly... Thanks TRMP for having discored this apps and share your discovery Speleomaniac, any answer about my last message (page 9) ? Thanks a lot. Edited October 30, 2008 by X2Stone
Guest speleomaniac Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Do U think you'll be able to compile LunarTilt, Teeter or whatever so that we just have to launch .CAB and play ? The author of LunarTilt added Omnia support as far as i know: http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php?topic=6753.0 Teeter's ddraw code is not supported on Omnia. i got the application run by payching the code that bypasses DDCAPS features check. but i'm currently working on a ddraw proxy dll which hopefully will emulate the missing features. 2nd question (smarter than the previous one i hope  ) : I know Flash dev (AS2 & AS3), do you think a Flash program can access G-sensors values ? if you can use the createfile and deviceiocontrol functions in flash, it would be possible. (i've done only some minor coding in flash before.) take a look at the sources i posted formerly.
Guest deeoo Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 (edited) Here's a list of HTC-sensor applications. http://wmpoweruser.com/?tag=stylus-sensor Is there a level-meter that works with the i900? Edited October 31, 2008 by deeoo
Guest testerr Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 i'm currently working on a ddraw proxy dll which hopefully will emulate the missing features. :D at some point our Omnias will change in to Diamonds. maybe it would be easier to bought an HTC device  anyway, you are the great programmer. good luck!
Guest offroadfreak8582 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 resco bubbles works great for me without any features instaled only need the serial because i haven't got a creditcard and i live in the netherlands.. further i got slide to unlock2 , ifonz (just for fun iphone's suck) , and a perfectly working i-go 2008 with license. (could give the the program to the one who give's me the serial for resco bubbles ) working on my I900. and speleomaniac youre the best hope to see a working version of teeter on my omnia!!! greetz
Guest X2Stone Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 (edited) ;) at some point our Omnias will change in to Diamonds. maybe it would be easier to bought an HTC device  But the exciting thing is precisely to try to make work applications which are not made to work on Omnia ! :D Edited November 1, 2008 by X2Stone

Guest pp56825 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 this is the strength of aplle marketing
Guest testerr Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 good games for g-sensor and 3d games, like the games for the iphone stinker? Forgot about this, because Windows Mobile is created for Programmers not for Users. Windows Mobile = neverending configuration and making hundreds of little helping applications making WM little more usable (like s2u2, s2p, devctl screen locking app, backups, ROM flashing, ROM cooking, etc, etc, etc....). If you want just use your phone with a joy then probably you should buy iPhone.
