Anyone else having random battery problems? (using DXHH3 ROM)

Well my battery sucks big time. Its only 2 days old (got a new one from orange) and it come off charge at 7am and is on 20% by 7pm. Last night I charged it up from 8.30pm till 11.30pm while it was on, then turned it off to charge right through till 7 am this morning. I have it on silent most of the day, maybe send 20 texts, maybe a 5 minute call and that's it.

I am tempted to flash it but TBH i am scared. ;)

HI All,

I totally confused as fas updating the ROM is concerned. I bought my phone in singapore and it came with DXHH3 ROM for both phone and PDA. The Battery life was terrible,with even minimum usage It would struggle to get even 1 day. I am not using any special software and usually end all tasks so i know nothing is running in the background.

At this point there are few options I am considering -

- Buy a new battery

- Upgrade to new ROM - I have no clue which is the latest firmware and need some desperate help with this.

I called the service center here in india and as per them the latest ROM is DDHJ2. However I blv the latest is DXHI1.

Please advise which is the new firmware after DXHH3 and if the battery issues are resolved.

I'm using a Omnia for 3 months now, but I'm very happy with DXHL2 rom, cooked in this case by lufeig(clean rom) Yesterday I've been using Tomtom7 for more then a hour; saw about 3 hours of streaming movie and play a bit with it just to promote the type of phones and at the end of the day it said 60%

I've got over 3GB of Omnia roms stored and this one is for me the best; fo shizzle!

I have upgraded my phone to the latest DXHK1 and it seems the battery issue is now resolved.
