You can check what locks are active by typing *#7465625# on the dialer.

Next, you need the 8-digit unlock code; this code is not the same for all Omnias, as it varies depending on your IMEI number and your operator. You can check your IMEI number by using *#06#.

You can obtain it either by paying for it and contacting an unlocker site, like http://unlock-code.info/, by using a generator program on the web (that's unlikely though), or simply by calling your operator and telling them your IMEI number and that you need to unlock it because you have to travel overseas, change SIM or any other good reason you can come up with.

Once you have the 8-digit code, note it somewhere.

After this, put in the locked SIM ( the one that doesn't work) and enter one of the following, depending on the actual active locks (first step):

#7465625*638*Code# = Disables Network lock

#7465625*782*Code# = Disables Subset lock

#7465625*77*Code# = Disables SP lock

#7465625*27*Code# = Disables CP lock

#7465625*746*Code# = Disables SIM lock

#7465625*228# = Activa lock OFF

#7465625*28638# = Auto Network lock OFF

#7465625*28782# = Auto subset lock OFF

#7465625*2877# = Auto SP lock OFF

#7465625*2827# = Auto CP lock OFF

#7465625*28746# = Auto SIM lock OFF

Code being the 8-digit unlock code. Then, you're good to go.

Maybe a solution here : http://www.samsungplayeraddict.com/forum_v...;p=26356#p26356

ancien samsung Mettez un Simcard non-reçu et allumez-le. Tapez *# 9998*3323 # => menu => malloc fail

mobile récent => #*7337#

RAPPEL => code non testé !!!

si les méthodes de désimlockage sont interdite sur le site, merci aux modérateurs d' effacer ce post !!

edit j'ai trouver plus d'info

Unlock Code

#*7337#

Entering Code instructions

1. Take out the SIM card from the phone and switch the phone on.

2. Enter the unlock code into your handset.

3. Now replace your SIM card and turn the phone on.

4. Your handset should now be unlocked.

Alternative Solution if the above fails

Unlock Codes

Code 1: *7465625*28782#

Code 2: *7465625*28638#

Entering Code instructions

1. Remove SIM Card from handset

2. Enter Code 1 into the handset

(Your handset will display "auto subset lock activated")

3. Enter Code 2 into the handset

4. Your handset should now be unlocked.

a) Enter an alternative network SIM card into your Samsung and reboot.

 The new network should be displayed in handset window.

c) If the process is repeated with yet another alternative network SIM card,

you may be requested to input a security or pin code to enable the use of

the new SIM card.

d) Enter 00000000 (8 zeros) which should enable the SIM to be accepted.

e) Finally once again enter 00000000 (8 zeros) and this should permanently

unlock the Samsung.

Final alternative Solution if the above fails

Unlock Code

#7465625*638*7337#

Entering Code instructions

1. Take out the SIM card from the phone and switch the phone on.

2. Enter the unlock code into your handset.

3. Now replace your SIM card and turn the phone on.

4. Your handset should now be unlocked.

How can i unlock my omnia ? tks

this is how i accidently unlock my omnia..

1) i tried to update the latest OS from the samsung website

2) My Omnia just dead... totally.. (Mayb bcos of the unit is lock by the service provider, or i did not follow the right way of updating)

3) i send to samsung service centre instead of the service provider - which they ask me to do so if i encounter any problem

4) i told the service centre that im going overseas within 3days time.. I NEED THE PHONE URGENTLY - which is true

5) i think the service centre reformat my unit with the latest update..

6) i receive my omnia back which is already unlock....

Hope it will helps u guys as well... if u dare to try...

P.S B) I might just be lucky...

I put the code *#7465625# into my Samsung Omnia & got the following :-

SIM/USIM Lock - Disabled

Network Lock - Disabled

Network Subset Lock - Disabled

Service Provider Lock - Disabled

Corporate Lock - Disabled

Does this mean my phone is unlocked & will be able to accept other SIM cards bought abroad ?

Regards

James

Well that's cool, my phone is an Omnia and I got it as a contract phone from Vodafone. I was just about to start what I thought was going to be an epic journey of unlocking it when I typed in *#7465625# and found out that everything is already disabled (already unlocked) :-)

Hi guys

I have tryed this to unlock my omnia so many times with no luck at all

this is what i have tryed:

This has been confirmed now and will be stickied! Please continue to brainstorm ideas for members who are having trouble!

1) Download attached ZIP file

2) Copy all three .lnk files to your Omnia

3) Open a registry editor and go to HKCU\System\State\PHONE, and write down the first 6 digits of IMSI entry (eg 505021 "Optus Australia"

4) Run Lock.ink

5) Enter the 6 digits you wrote down from above in the MCC/MNC section

6) As NCK, enter 12345678

7) Tap OK (it should tell that SIMLock enabled)

8) Run Status.lnk to see if its locked

9) Run Unlock.lnk

10) Enter code entered in point 6 (12345678)

11) You're Unlocked!

Try this method too...

1. Type *7465625*638*# to set

2. Type the code from the registry as above into the MCC/MNC section

3. Type your new NCK (12345678), then OK

4. Type *#7465625# to check your lock

5. Type #7465625*638*# and type your NCK (12345678)

Would love some real time feedback on this guys... digg_bgcolor = 'transparent'; digg_window = 'new'; digg_url = 'http://www.samsung-omnia.org/index.php?topic=2716.msg12924#msg12924'; digg_title = 'How To: Unlock your Omnia (Confirmed Working!)'; digg_bodytext = 'If you have been unlucky enough to get an Omnia that is carrier locked, this is the way to unlock it for free! This has been confirmed now and will be stickied! Totally Awesome man, thanks for that little app. It really works. Disabled the network so now I can roam without being tide to one cellular network. I can finally switch to 3G on the Claro network, was on digicel in Jamaica.

All Vodafone contract phones now come unlocked, PAYG can be unlocked free but you have to ring 191 IIRC

HKCU\System\State\PHONE showing IMSI "not active" but the Netlock is still active. The ISMI does not have a code.

Any one have any ideas? Sim is unlooked and so is everything but Net Lock.
