Guest paper_wastage Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 as the title says... the firmware upgrade program crashed during phrase 3... on the phone, its stuck on the 'time = 012..' thing... i pulled the battery.... now the phone cannot boot...stuck at the Windows Mobile splash screen going to call Samsung support on monday... ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest paper_wastage Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 Have you tried rerunning the ROM upgrade? ya when the phone is 'stuck' at the windows splash screen and i connect to the PC, WMDC finds the device and connects, and I can see part of the device directory.... i reran the ROM upgrade, the program detects the phone, then sets the phone to Bootloader mode but after phrase 2, the rom upgrade says 'waiting for next image' at phrase 3 my best guess from searching is that phrase 3 requires the modem drivers... i have that installed on the computer probably during the first attemp when the program crashed, the ActiveSync/Modem setting on the phone got corrupted, so the program cannot set the phone to Modem mode... i checked Device Manager, cannot see Modem->Samsung Blackjack II..... guess i have to send it in Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
