Guest whiplash000 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 If I'm not mistaken, what you need to do is change the source code of HaRET so that it supports the PXA312's unique architecture. It should be compiled the same way the unmodified version should. Also, did you fix that kernel panic yet? <_<
Guest FeLLa_ Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 yep you are right. but i can't compile it at linux. its too complicated! i didnt look at your problem yet, sorry... but i will do that asap <_< next problem is to make partitions at the internal omnia storage! i tried to make 2gb ext2/ext3 partition on the end of the storage! gparted say that all is fine. but if i disconnect the phone and put it in again my ext* partition is again a fat partition! f**k winmo!! it puts 2 files on each partition automatically! we have to protect the ext* partition. but i dont know if that is possible?
Guest cobrica Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Soo you are now doing on Android or what? <_< sorry i dont know all this stuff what are you talking about..
Guest FeLLa_ Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 i compiled the generic sources yesterday for first tests. but the android os need an ext filesystem from now. and thats impossible atm <_< i try to put the image in the initrd for some testing... but that isnt the right way in future... we need an winmo independent ext* partition now!
Guest dragracekid Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 wat about a memory card with the partitions? ive had a few running using backtrack as a live cd with changes could that help?
Guest Omnia-Winker Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Just wanted to give you guys a thumbs up....I thought the idea of Android on the omnia had died.... You seem to be working hard though to push it on.... You can put a mixture of OS's on a PC so why not have the same flexability on mobile... Keep it up guys....happy to beta test any builds

Guest whiplash000 Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 I applied for a SourceForge page. If that doesn't work, we could use a google code page. This way we can collaborate better.
