What ROM version is best for Australia?

But in ofial Sumsung website, I dont know What Country we nesse to select

There are no Australia

What is the last Australia Rom avaliable? DTHJ9?

Im from Oz and i updgrade my rom to DZHK3 the first day i got the phone :( it was bought through optus the rom i updated to was for singapore. i read somewhere in these forums to update rom for aussie omnia owners and to use the sinapore official rom from the site? never had a problem runs smoothly.... As far as i know this is the most up to date rom for singapore?? correct me if im wrong.

Yep I have a vodafone branded i900, version:

PDA: i900BUHJ2/BUHJ2 --> i900DXIA2/OMNIA

Phone: i900BUHI2 --> i900DXIA2

I converted the rom very easily. I used tarils latest rom DXIA2.

It was my first time updating a rom and it seems harder than it is..... mine didnt have any problems...... only a few hours into the new rom, so havnt evaluated it yet.

if your having battery issues, i can tell u this, mine also needed charging every day, but after about a week that dramatically reduced and seems that the battery has worn itself in?? and I am getting at least 2 - 3 days out of it B4 the rom change. So just check your settings under backlight, and also set to turn of the screen after 30sec and device about 1 min. Also, the pwr button if pressed and released quickly turns of the screen to! saves heaps of power. And I added s2u2 and set it to activate when the screen goes blank, so i can use the pwr button thing and still have a locked phone! the old unlock is too hard to see and fiddly i reckon.....

Oh and set the phone to wake up only when the front button is pressed as that will stop it activating when the screen is touched when in your pocket!

Hi,

I was able to upgrade my Omnia to DXIA2 properly. It is originally from Australia 3 Network, I bought unlocked on ebay, but after I upgraded it, now it is asking for PIN code. I already tried to unlock it, but phone is unable to read my SIM card's IMSI (it is from Claro Brasil and not from 3 Networks Australia).

From my research, seems that I need a 3 Network Australia SIM card to unlock it again, but I don't have it and I don't know how to buy one... Could anybody from Australia help me to get one prepaid 3 Network SIM card? We can negotiate... B)
