Here techmaster. I quickly threw together a cab for the people who don't have aa file explorer that can overwrite ROM files. Just to be clear, these are techmaster's files, I just packaged them into a cab.

My Omnia is 6.1 with hebrew menus.

Do you know if the english dll work with it?

I use it any way and it works OK, the keypad is enabled during all the call.

I also make video call and it work OK.

The problem is that the Hebrew Keypad was changed with the English one.

This is my HEB original HEB_SECDialer.rar.

Can you patched for me please.

Instructions for the hard of learning! (People like ME!)

1. On the first post of this thread, click on the first link, MoDaCo.omniapatcheddialler.CAB

2. Download the file to anywhere your PC. (I used 'Desktop.')

3. Connect your phone to your PC (either via Bluetooth or USB)

4. Copy (drag) the file into one of the folders.

Windows Mobile device Center - File Management - Browse The Contents Of YourDevice - My Storage - 'Any Folder!'

5. Disconnect your phone from the PC.

6. Open the folder, find the file and double-click on it.

Main Menu - Programs - File Explorer - My Storage - 'Any Folder!'

7.You'll receive a warning about it being downloaded from the Internet. Click "Yes".

8. The program will install and then ask if you want to restart the phone. Click "OK".

Inspired by this post, installing this CAB will rid you of the auto-keypad lock when you start a call. This is for English language devices only.

Feedback please... i'm considering a simple toggle app too (like my OmniaSIP and OmniaTHREAD apps).

Technical info - this is the SECDialer.dll from the DXHI2 ROM, patched to not write the lock entry to registry, not to display the big graphic and re-signed to give it a valid signature.

Hey guys, I am new to this forum as I've recently bought a Samsung Omnia 735 and experienced that annoying keypad lock in calls. I already tried several patched cabs but these did not work for my device as it screws up the contact list's menu...

Could you help me out please?

Alright guys, as no-one here could help me out, I tried it on my own using Paul's tut at the beginning! As I am not familiar with editing hex the background color during the call is grey :-( ...ok ..but it works! Hint: you are supposed to replace the string with TouchUnLock instead of DoNotLock!
