FYI: custom skins for Samsung XT9

Hi!

Sorry for everybody I might be a bit offtopic, but i think this topic is the right place for my question.

I would like to change the character sequence on my omnia's phonepad. I used to have nokias for a long time and I prefer a nother sequence. In the phonepad, there are "abc" letters on the first button, but I would like to change the sequence to "aábc" (I don't need the other characters like ä æ....) I want to change for example the danish file.

I've searched in the "Samsung_i900.Phonepad.Discrete.Default.Danish.kdb" file with a hex editor, but I didn't fid the characters, what the omnia is using.

I really like the Samsung KeyPad BUT the one thing that keeps me from using it is the lack of a Period (.) on the set of keys. I have not been able to find any easy way to enter a period other than switching to the symbols view - which is too cumbersome. Soooo.

Can one of you "guru's" produce a KeyPad with the Period key added? That would be absolutely phenomenal.

this is my version,

keypad (portrait only)

commonkeypad.rar

keyboard (portrait + landscape)

keyboard.rar

simply:

-use resco to backup files from windows folder

-copy my files on the storage card, change properties (resco, hold on a file, chose properties,),

copy to windows folder, overwrite all

soft reset, and you got new samsung look (i dont like orginal one)

that's the best keyboard color/layout for the omnia. suits the winmo 6.5 theme very well! :D thanks!

I only could move the first three files.

I couldn't find the other two on my Dutch languaged Omnia i900

But I have the keyboard working.Keys are rather small.

GUYS! HELP!!!

I installed a black skin but the keys are only visible when I press on them!!! in a normal state I do not see any lables on the buttons..........it looks like the font color remains black in a normal state which should be white color.......but how do I change???

OK PROBLEM SOLVED MYSELF!! ))))))) all you have to do is to add the tag: color="0x000000" in the xml files ))))) very easy!!! but took me hours to find that! )))
