Guest paper_wastage Posted October 9, 2008 Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 (edited) right out of the box, after a hard-reset(reformat).... phone doesnt seem to be app-locked because i was able to install Resco Registry editor and file manager... but i still installed secpolicies.cab, used the Security Powertoy to app-unlock then i installed the Microsoft GPSID.cab and change program port to COM4 and 38400... ChartCross GPS Test was able to detect GPS at COM4... the GPS starts up(theres a purple LED flash when this happens)... but ChartCross program says 'GPS STARTING UP'.. and gets stuck on that screen no change in any of the data values after 20 minutes .... did i do anything wrong? its frustrating to see the GPS not working..
