You have to edit the sys.txt file [folders] app="My Storage/Program Files/iGO8" Or wherever you have installed it. Jeannette

Guest theidoctor.org Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 i have done all the text file tweaks and it is still giving me that error.... i just need a clear list of directions... i am trying to install the 8.3 version not 8.0.... its the same one that jeanette has... if i can get it working, i will make a tutorial and put it on my website

You have probably changed the language files before launching it for the first time. Reinstall it and make sure it loads and gets a lock before changing anything. Then copy over what language files you need, relaunch program and then change to languague you want. Then all should be good. Then you can probably get rid of the files you don't require. The other thing I discovered this time around was that you should remove the 2557 install folder after its up and running before doing any patching. Otherwise the patch doesn't take properly.
