Do you know how to change Back the Name to "Bandeja de Entrada"??? Thanks For you help! I FOUND THE SOLUTION Before I do a activesync, I have to go to configuration on international settings set "Spanish International Sort" Iosu Edited October 28, 2008 by Iosub
Guest Iosub Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Hi I have another question, After the ROM update, Do we have to do a "camera update" *#2470# ?? Thanks!
Guest SwagR Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Not removing Samsung stuff (I use it), I could add HTC Sensor DLLs, but FL3.1 doesn't coexist with the Samsung Widget Today screen. P I totally agree, if i wanted a HTC i would have bought one, everybopdy wants to make the Omnia some other phone, y not jsut buy that other phone. Lets just make the samsung stuff better, HTC has been doing this for a while so they got years ahead so lets optimize the Omnia software rather than just copy theirhard work...plus it works great for me!

Guest js4tda Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 The first version runs great on my phone no issues so far other than the GPS for google maps but that has been happening from old rom probaly an operator error. Will try this new version soon. Thanks for your work Paul.
Guest bmn4711 Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Thanks Paul for all the hard work.. Just curious, with all the flashing going on here, how to you guys backup your settings, and programs that you have installed? Or do you just install them all over again?
Guest PaSSoA Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 You can use PIMbackup for contacts/messages etc. It was posted a few posts back and for installation of programs and settings, you can try UC here.
Guest Phil20vt Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Sprite Backup is also very good.will backup settings / software etc.
Guest lohasc Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 so can i assume that OEM chinese SIP don't work on Paul's MCR02. If it's true, maybe Paul can provode a version on the next release with Sunfon.ac3still intact as for Paul ROM suit me the best, save no Chinese SIP. but if PaSSoa's ROM include My Storage as apart of Main Storage, as someone mention, in his ,ite ROM Section, then it's a different Story. ie. as much free main storage as possible, is my main priorty. btw my current setup, ROM Black Daimond chinese OEM SIP Today plug-in -Samsung Today2 - Second today w/ SPB Dairy and Traveller other prog. Opera9.5 beta, core player, youtubeplayer, spb finance/wallet/plus/online , mapking, S2u2, google maps, etc

Guest HypoglossalXII Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Thanks Paul for all the hard work.. Just curious, with all the flashing going on here, how to you guys backup your settings, and programs that you have installed? Or do you just install them all over again? While this is really subjective, I find using the software provided by Samsung itself, MIT's wizard 3.0, the best. It's easy to use, and can back up everything or just what you need. PIMBackup is decent too, however, being a noob myself, i like all the flashy GUI that comes with MIT's. Give it a try, if you need more help, just PM.
Guest taril Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 There will be a newer version of this rom? I do hope...
Guest jon.s Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 hi all i have upgraded/downgraded to numerous ROMs in conjunction with running SPB phone suite just fine, especially for what i need (easy access to wifi/speed dial, automatic profile switching, etc.) unfortunately with this custom update none of the functionality in the phone suite seems to work from the Home screen. i.e. turning wifi 'on' does nothing, profile switching doesn't happen... has anyone had similar issues or know of the likely cause? thanks
Guest lohasc Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Hi Paul, New2City and PaSSoa had solve the Chinese SIP problem. U and see it at the LITE ROM Forum. Thanks.
Guest Iosub Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 I have see the post : http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-omnia-r...ogram-crashes/# and I have found that maybe I'm having the issues that are described in the post. I'm having somo ramdom problemes with this rom: 1.- Some times when I click on a message on the Inbox, the message window showups but nothing is there, I softreset solves the problem 2.- Some Time the main/launcher shows up also empty, soft reset solves the problem 3.- Some times does not open the configuration, I have tray to open from main/launcher or Home/Windows Menu/configuration.. soft reset fix also So maybe there is something wrong with the rom? Are you having ramdom strange thigs like me? Thanks!
Guest Iosub Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Hi, Before I updated to this rom, I was able to send and recive files over bluetooth.. Is this because this rom has been removed the IRDA files? Or I'm doing something wrong? I have paired my computer and the I900.. Any help? Thanks!
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 When a new base ROM is out i'll update this, including fixing the BT issue... P
Guest Alex Alex Alex Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 When a new base ROM is out i'll update this, including fixing the BT issue... P i'm surprised to see these BT comments, i'm using the rom (just checking my version, it def says MCR02) and i know in the past couple of days i've transferred a file over BT to a sony phone and also to a laptop and it's happily paired with my parrot car kit.
Guest nevmic Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 When a new base ROM is out i'll update this, including fixing the BT issue... P Hi Everyone .. I have just updated to version PDA - PTHJ6/MCR02 PHONE - XXHJ1 One of the reasons of my upgrade is that the usb connection from the laptop to the omnia was not charging the telephone. However after the upgrade, it seems the problems is still there. When I connect to usb, the battery icon on the top bar changes to the charging icon but in reality it is not charging. Am I doing something wrong please? BUG - there is a small thin (1 pixel) green line just above the Start icon which is always there both in the landscape and portait screen. Actually it grows in size when in landscape. Thanks!
